We took our songwriting as far as we could possibly push it. With “De Toorn (Talisman)” we challenge the listener more than ever, to commit, to nest and take root in its creation. Embrace a tangible moment in the fleeting and furiously fast paced world of today.”

“Forlorn” is live now, and taken from the “With Fang and Claw” EP to be released on @relapserecords march 28th.
The piece comes, accompanied by a shortfilm directed by our talented artist friend and sculptor @amorphokyria , it was initially conceived as a choreographed meditation on the cyclical nature of life and death.

De Toorn and With Fang and Claw have distinct soundscapes, songwriting approaches, and emotional weight. The result is a two part journey through AMENRA’s raw, visceral beginnings, and a look into the band’s future as one of the most enthralling and cinematic experiences in the genre.
Recorded in a single session at the same studio in the Belgian Ardennes where the band’s massive Mass VI was recorded with Seth Manchester @seffffffy (Machines With Magnets).
